Deborah Durkin
This is the story of Bea and her memories of working on a thoroughbred racetrack for 20 years.
8 of them on the backstretch with the horses. 12 in the grandstand restaurants with the two-legged.
It describes how she got there and why she left.
It was frustrating work. Backbreaking, heartbreaking, and addicting that she found a way to navigate with determination, irreverence, and humor.
